I have been thinking a lot about risk. This mostly stems from the reactions I am getting from my close friends and family members and I am recognizing through these reactions that everyone has different ways of dealing and approaching uncertain circumstances. I want to write about this more, but here are the questions that I am asking for starters: How do people deal with risk? When making risky decisions where do we get our information? (the news, our emotions? people’s opinions? professional opinions? gut instincts? personal experiences?) What makes a decision risky? How do other people interpret the risk you are taking? How do our personal experiences affect our ability to look objectively at an uncertain or potentially dangerous situation?
